POVERTY DOESN’T REST, NEITHER DO WE

We’re determined to fight local poverty and its interconnected challenges. From meeting urgent needs to driving innovative solutions for lasting change and a better tomorrow. We are united in our efforts to build a strong, more equitable GTA where everyone can thrive.

SERVING
1.8 MILLION PEOPLE

PROVIDING
650+ PROGRAMS

SUPPORTING
300+ SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCIES

United Way works together with local agencies, residents who know their communities best and donors like you. We design solutions that prioritize the people and places who are being left behind. Building community take community, and together, we will build stronger neighbourhoods for everyone who calls the GTA home — today and for the years to come.

Connecting people to food — and each other

As too many across our region struggle to put food on the table, United Way is working with partners like Ecosource to address food security and ensure everyone can access the support they need.

Taking community to new heights

Community Hubs are an important place where people can access support, resources and collaborate with their neighbours, all under one roof!

Partnering to connect with residents

Centennial College journalism students, in partnership with our Inclusive Local Economic Opportunity initiative, share stories with residents about opportunities in the Greater Golden Mile, published in The Toronto Observer.
